Capital Grille Restaurant

Going to CAPITAL GRILLE! How much money am I looking at spending!?
Me and my boyfriend got a gift card for Capital Grille in Boston. I have never been, nor have I been to a fine dining restaurant before. Im just wondering an estimate on two people, including apps, 2 entrees, one dessert....possibly some wine or a drink or two each??? ANY estimate would be appreciated! Also I love love love steak! Any suggestions on a great meal there
You're looking at around $150-200 plus tip, depending on if you have drinks. Steaks are around $40-50. Like someone else said, sides are ordered a la carte. Usually two people would get two sides, typically a potato and a vegetable. If you like onion rings, theirs are really good. Sides are around $10 each. I'm not completely sure about dessert, but most likely around $15ish. Appetizers are around $15 each as well, depending on what you get.
Alcohol is the thing that will really rack up your bill... a lot. I'd say maybe get a drink during your appetizer, then after dinner, go somewhere else for drinks if you want. Their Stoli Dolis are sooo yummy (they soak pineapple in vodka for a few days, then give you the vodka.. delicious!). Drink are around $15 each.

Another option would be to go during restaurant week. Boston's winter restaurant week is March 6-11, and March 13-18 this year. Capital Grille always participates. Basically, you pick from a prix fixe menu (apps, dinner, dessert). I forget the exact price, but it's about $40 or so a person. You can also add on anything from the regular menu if you want, obviously for the regular price. It's definitely a great deal, especially for the expensive steakhouses. Enjoy your meal!!
